These belief statements reflect the biblical convictions that guide the life and ministry of Purpose Church of NJ.
One God
There is one God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified, buried, resurrected, ascended and now serves as our High Priest and Advocate.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is at work today to regenerate, guide, instruct and empower believers to manifest God's will on the earth.
Humanity and Salvation
Humanity was created in the image of God, fell into sin and is restored through the atoning blood of Jesus and the regenerative work of the Holy Spirit.
Resurrection
There will be a resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved unto life and the lost unto damnation.
The Return of Christ
Purpose Church believes in the imminent premillennial return of Jesus Christ and the establishment of His Kingdom on the earth.
